Your Greens Councillor for Ward 3
Hi I’m Sinead and I’m delighted and honoured to be your Greens councillor for Newcastle Ward 3. I have a background in leisure and tourism studies and currently work as an Organiser for the National Tertiary Education Union at the University of Newcastle. I am also an accredited mediator.
Within council I serve on the Youth Council Committee, the Community and Culture Committee and the Access and Inclusion Committee.
I’m passionate about our local environment, vibrant cultural life, supporting the next generation of leaders and making this area more inclusive and safer for all, especially local women and the many locals who have been touched by the current housing crisis.
