Your Candidate for Ward 3
Newcastle Council needs to help residents manage today's cost of living, housing, energy generation, and domestic violence challenges. Residents need a more direct say in Council decisions.
I am a post-graduate in leisure and tourism studies, an active community member, a delegate for the United Service Union, a member of the Hunter Workers Women’s Committee and the Division Organiser for the National Tertiary Education Union at the University of Newcastle.
I’ve participated in campaigns for the environment, workers, women, refugees, First Nations rights, housing, live performance, youth, community, and justice. I’m a published freelance writer and recently trained to become an accredited mediator.
I represented Newcastle Greens as a candidate for Wallsend in 2019 and Ward 3 in 2020/2021 and once again, I’m excited to be part of such a dynamic team of candidates for this election.
