Mount Sugarloaf, at 412 metres high, is a mountain in the Hunter Region offering breath-taking panoramic views of Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Cessnock, and Maitland.

Enjoy a fantastic Sunday morning walk with Senator David Shoebridge through a location historically significant to the Awabakal people and teeming with incredible plant and birdlife (pictured below).

The tracks vary from gentle strolls to longer paths with steps and steeper sections, making them suitable for most visitors while still giving a light hiking feel.

Equipped with toilets, picnic areas, barbecue facilities, and car parks. Its diverse trails and natural beauty makes it a remarkable Hunter Region landmark.
