Former CEO of the Environmental Defenders Office, Sue Higginson speaks on the criminalisation of peaceful protest and what the Greens are doing to push back.

Among other things in her work at the EDO, she defended activists for their democratic right to protest. She’s taken governments and international corporations to court and has seen how NSW parliament has been used to erode the laws that she once used to protect protestors' rights.
Now she’s in parliament and intends to put things right.
