Come join us for an exciting day of community engagement as we gear up for the Newcastle Local Government Elections in September with our first doorknocking event in Mayfield, hosted by the Newcastle Greens! Whether you're a seasoned activist or new to grassroots campaigning, this is your chance to make a real difference. We'll be kicking off the day at the vibrant Dangar Park, where you'll be warmly welcomed into our green family. Don't worry if you're feeling nervous - we're all in this together, and there's plenty of support and guidance available.

Before hitting the streets, we'll gather for a quick orientation session to familiarise ourselves with the day's doorknocking campaign. You'll receive all the information you need to confidently engage with local residents. Plus, we'll have a practice round to sharpen your skills and boost your confidence. Paired up with a partner, you'll venture out into the community to connect with fellow Newcastle residents, listen to their thoughts, and take notes on their opinions about our great city. Together, we'll amplify the voices of the people and work towards building a brighter, greener future for Newcastle!
